Three Principles

Network relentlessly (conferences, help freely).
Ask bigger questions ("how do I make $100k/day?" not "$100/day").
Don't be a dick; reputation is checked.

Conference Playbook

Go even if you know nobody; the first two are awkward.
Shake hands, accept invitations, let it snowball.
Show you're hungry and will apply advice.
Let people talk about themselves.
Treat it as a multi-year investment.

Tribe Formation

Find 5-10 peers at your level in groups.
Group chat, same vertical, share tests.
Cap at 12-15 members.
Re-form with bigger players as you level up.

Money Rules

Invest the first ~$1M before changing lifestyle.
Cardone rule: passive income must cover luxury payments.
Consider whether you would value a flashy purchase if nobody knew about it.
Pay experts for tax strategy; defer/offset where legal.

Editor Bake-Off

Upwork shortlist by portfolio.
Hire 5-8 simultaneously.
One Slack channel, one task, one reference video.
Grade: turnaround, instruction-following, originality, ad performance.
Keep the best; expect 1 in 5.
Demand full autonomy: research, script (AI), voice (AI), B-roll.
Set weekly quotas for count, quality, distinct angles.
Track spend-per-editor ÷ pay weekly; cut the down-trending lines.

Management Minimums

Hire in groups.
Project board with goals.
15-minute meeting twice a week; public commitments; peer accountability.

Angle-Cleaning Method

Find the aggressive angle everyone runs.
Identify why buyers hate it (what the lead will say on the phone).
Reword so it still sounds official/urgent but is defensible ("apply for a payment reduction").
Know the vertical's rules cold.

Persona → Hook

Who am I talking to? Then the micro-persona (life stage).
Pain they're leaving, pleasure they're moving toward.
Ask AI for 10 hooks within that framework.
Copy is a separate craft (Cialdini, buying cycle).

Creative Diversity Ladder

Test enough that no single ad matters.
Keep a bench of 20 ready to replace any winner.
Vary execution style (Post-it, before/after) on the same hook.
Vary specificity (state-by-state, Costco vs Walmart) with matched targeting.
50 avatars × $3k > 1 ad × $150k.

Replicate → Reiterate

Phase 1: rip 50, find what works.
Phase 2: build better versions, own the angle, optimize funnel.
Use AI to generate unique ads from themes/personas.
When stuck: do more volume.

Platform Rules of Thumb

FB: fast feedback, tolerate images.
TikTok/Snap: same videos, more of them, older demos.
Google: clean creatives, 7 days negative, then durable.
Native: spy source; get a rep; diversification play.

Broke-Brand Triage

Read the data: SKU, flavor, bundle, subscription, which ad drove sales.
One channel, one ad format, narrow until profitable.
Zach Stuck: 1 image × 50 headlines → 5 → iterate.
Amazon first if that's where sales already are.
No new debt.

Future-Proofing

Build systems.
Stay in the conversation.
Raise LTV: recurring, data, back-end.
Cut the middleman.
Reinvent niche software with AI; retrain teams on AI.

Separate LLCs per business.
Trusts for personal assets.
